Know what makes you happy.
People that know themselves and what makes them happy are happier because of it.
This is often the most difficult step because it’s the first. Yet if you can know yourself and your happiness you are one step closer to being happier.
Start with yourself: everything that makes you, you–the good, the bad, and the ugly. It’s painful, but happiness–on a daily basis–is well worth it.
Then it’s finding the activities, roles, projects, and tasks that are enjoyable and challenging. An enjoyable activity makes us momentarily happy. The challenge of an act makes us the happiest over a longer period of time.
