Tell Others What Makes You Happy.
There aren’t many things we like talking about more than our own happiness.
You get to be yourself, socialize and tell your closest friends and relationships what makes you happy all at the same time. This is called your Happy Network, which reinforces and influences what makes you happy. Happiness is a social and contagious experience.
It’s not only your friend’s happiness that rubs off on you; your happiness influences them as well. A happy friend can increase your happiness by about 25%. Comparatively, getting a raise at work increases your happiness, on average, by only 2%. 1
By telling your happiness you’re not only being social, which makes us healthier and happier, but also reinforcing your happiness through similar activities and influencing others to be happier as well.
